Originally known for his appearance on BBC’s ‘Dragon’s Den’, Levi is a huge success story, hitting the big time with the production of his famed ‘Reggae Reggae Sauce’.
A popular and hugely entertaining Carribbean cook, Levi has been a massive hit at Nottingham Food Festival in 2014, Sandringham Food Festival in 2015, and Northampton Food Festival in 2106 we are delighted to be welcoming him to the debut Barleylands Food Festival in 2017
Ursula Ferrigno is an acclaimed and experienced food writer and chef who embodies the Italian and Mediterranean passion for good food made from the freshest natural ingredients. She trained at the Auguste Escoffier School of the Culinary Arts and has taught at leading cookery schools in both the UK and Italy, including the celebrated Leith’s School of Food and Wine, Divertimenti, and La Cucina Caldesi in Ireland. She toured the US, running classes in Sur la Table stores, is consultant chef to the popular Caffe Nero restaurant chain in the UK and has made numerous appearances on British television. The author of more than 17 cookery books, Ursula has also written for many publications, including Olive, BBC Good Food, Taste Italia, and American Gourmet.
Richard Bainbridge is the owner and culinary mastermind behind celebrated Norwich restaurant Benedicts.
He started working in kitchens at the age of 16 working his way up the ranks at The Waterside Inn with the Roux brothers progressing from commis chef to junior sous. He has also previously worked as head chef at Michelin starred Morston Hall before launching his own eatery.
The modern British restaurant has gained many accolades including being named in The Sunday Times’s top 100 restaurants 2017.
Richard also has a regular column for the Eastern Daily Press where he discusses all things food.
Matt is a British chef and television food presenter best known for presenting shows such as Channel 4’s Food Unwrapped and Drop Down Menu, the BBC’s Saturday Kitchen and the Good Food channel’s Market Kitchen.
Matt is one of a new generation of cooks using a modern approach to restaurant food that draws on the superb quality of British produce available today, but which also pays its respects to our amazing culinary heritage. His interpretation of Modern British Cuisine is to take a traditional dish and breathe new life into it with modern flavours and fresh presentation.
