This year’s exciting line up for the food roadshow at the Sandringham Food Festival:
Jackie Kearney was a top 4 finalist in BBC One’s MasterChef 2011 and runner up for Best Main Dish at British Street Food Awards in 2012. Her food passion lies with world street food, and vegan and vegetarian dining. As a street food pioneer in the UK, Jackie has travelled up and down the country with her iconic trailer Barbarella, serving up gourmet world street food, as well as working with the MasterChef street food bus.
Eva Humphries is Nottingham’s leading registered nutritional therapist and the brains behind Wholefood Warrior.
Instead of aiming for unrealistic perfection, she aims to educate you on what your body may need, so you can make better choices for yourself. After all, if you don’t help yourself then who is going to? Her talks are based on science, the real nerdy stuff that nobody really bothers to read, and are delivered in a fun (yes, really!) manner. Each sessions starts with the basics then builds on this knowledge, so it doesn’t matter if you are a complete novice or an expert, you will leave having learnt something new.
Linda’s great passion is to show people how easy it is to make bread in their own homes. Bread that is delicious and healthy. There is no mystery to bread making. By mastering a few simple techniques you will have the confidence to create all manner of breads. Very popular last year, Linda will be talking about breads, pasta, and also running workshops all day for people wanting to having a go.
The Crabstock Boys
Andy and Adrian with their tales of the open sea and how to cook what you catch. The guys will also be talking about their fantastic Fruit De Mer Restaurant, which will be running throughout the food festivals
It’s back! Our willing volunteers will be presented with a range of creepy crawly delicacies from ants to cockroaches. Who will last the course? Not for the weak stomached! Volunteers will be registered on the day.
